Tech: Ashampoo Power Up won't start

Hi all

I've just installed the above programme which came with the latest PC Advisor magazine.

It seemed to installok but won't open - any ideas? I've emailed the company but thought I may get a quicker and more helpful response here!

I'm running Vista Home Premium and have MS Net Framework 3.5 installed on a Toshiba Laptop

Please ignore the first message - after around 45 mins it started working - presumably must have been a delay in the programme connecting to the software comany's site

PC Advisor stuff only works if you're in the UK, from my experience with a few things they've touted that I looked at.

I assume your laptop does speak Brit?

(just joking at 'ya of course)

Hi John - its speaks Hartlepudlian with a Yorkshire accent John - as Brit as you can get!!

Just had a look at the programme - not sure it will be much help!
