Here we go again, 17th - 19th April. We had such a great time at the first event Here in the Marches Mike the Landlord of the Salwey Arms is very keen for up to do it again. There'll be a ceilidh workshop with a dance on the saturday night and singing and music sessions all weekend. For details about accommodation contact me.

Just incase you don't know, The Marches are the border lands between England and Wales. The Salwey Arms is at Wooferton on the A49 between Leominster and Ludlow.

I dont think we'll be able to to the whole week end this time as it is the only week end we have aqt home in April but I daresay we can drop in at some point as it's local we certainly enjoyed the last one

I'm still waiting to hear from the farmer. Because i told him it's a music weekend i think he got nervous, i'm sure he imagines motor bikes and drugs! I'll contact him again on Monday. Also i'll see if there's another field fairly close by.

Just in case anyone's interested, Travelodge have an Easter Sale on today which shows rooms at this location at £32 per night for the Friday & Saturday of Sal's music weekend. But you gotta get in fast, when the sale rooms are gone, they're gone!

We probably won't be able to come along though *sniff*

Well thanks to all for coming. It was fun, wasn't it. I was really pleased with how many came to the ceilidh.

To answer the question about when the next one is, i'm putting out feelers for 6th June, but please don't broadcast that yet. Hopefully that'll combine with the usual 1st Friday session at the pub.
