Highly entertaining song. I too have heard the comments some "ladies of a certain age" make at certain Show of Hands gigs (and post on various messageboards).

As the ladies are of that particular age , can we expect some throwing of knickers onto the stage a la Tom Jones at future S of H gigs?

That takes me back to 1966.
I saw Tom Jones live with his band The Squires (at least i think it was that name).
I had a front row table.
The knickers flew ten to the dozen on to the stage.

IMHO that was when Tom Jones was at his best.
