Oh Rosie, how I remember the gig I saw you at with Newman at Bouremouth, and two songs still make those hairs tingle.....

Forever Young

Abandoned.

Wish I had MP3's of those.

A voice to die for.

I will always remember that night and those songs for ever. Pity you can't squeeze one more gig in beautiful Dorset. No harm dreaming is there lass?

Best of luck, Rosie - you have a gorgeous voice. Sorry I won't be able to get there but I live in Ireland these days. Thanks for letting us know about your gig. Best wishes for a full house!

I won't be there, cos I live in Canada now. My request however would be for "Damned Idle Feller that Follows the Plough"
Assuming you are the same person who sang it in the "Noel Timpson Folk Club" some 40ish years ago.
JohnB.

Hi everyone!

Bonnie - thank you so much for your good wishes - it was a wonderful night!

John - yes, I sang at the Noel Timpson Centre many many moons ago (mid 60s I think) but I haven't sung traditional music since about 1971 - I've been singing all my own material since then - so sadly I couldn't remember that one LOL!

Bob - PLEASE WRITE TO ME ON rosie@rosiehardman.com and I'll see if I can help you!

Thanks too - to everyone who came to the gig - it was great to see you all and pictures and write ups of the event can be found at http://www.rosiehardman.com/rosie.htm - Enjoy!

Lots of love
Rosie

Hello Rosie - you're a darling .I can only equate you with wonderful singing and very good guitar player and great self penned songs - but most important a fabulous performer - no microphones / PA system required.
These were the halcyon days of folk clubs where you had to entertain a room full without the electronic aids - and you were in a small pool of "greats" who could do so.
We'll say a prayer for a bit of magic to come along to help you you with your spine - you never know what magic these medics come up with these days.
Although you didn't - every time you sang " Let me be your Lady " even in a room full of people - I felt you wrote it for me - that's how good the delivery was.Wonderful memories for which we all thank you, and very best wishes for the future from us all up in the Redcar region.

If you're the same excellent singer I knew; you were introduced by me as Rosemary Hardman at the Manchester Sports Guild folk sessions some 45 years ago. I'm very glad you're still singing.Best wishes.
