There is a recent photo of Ray, Colin Ross, and Louis Killen at EFDSS award presentation on the EFDSS news page.
Best wishes, Thomas.

I passed on the link to Ray & Di. They've read all your comments, and are thrilled that you all enjoyed it.

Oops sorry, yes, should have mentioned Di,what a voice and such great presence. I had never heard her before and thought she was great. It was clear how well they get on together. Again, a great night. M

Excellent news to hear that Ray is performing again and what good news to hear all these comments regarding Di Henderson - memories of the Royal Turf Folk Club, Felling on Tyne back in the sixties.

My favourite female singer; indeed, why stop at 'female'? Great to know she's singing again.

I met up with Ray at Whitby last year, and she was in cracking form.
I'm glad she's venturing down to the wicked south to educate the natives again;)
I look forward to sharing some more craic with her at Whitby this year.
The lassie's a treasure, and an object lesson in the performing of folk music, to us all.
Go see her whenever you get the chance.

I'm pleased to hear that Di Henderson is singing out to a wider audience.
She has been a rated singer here on Teesside for many years and has shared many gigs with her good friend Ray Fisher.

Hope this happens more often now and that Di gets the exposure she deserves.

I sent my apologies to Sheila a while ago, because I knew I would be in Sidmouth for the weekend, but am really sorry I missed Ray and Di. Glad to hear it went well.

Kitty

I was lucky enough to see Ray and Di at Swindon Folksingers Club on Friday night - one of those memorable nights, really wonderful to see Ray performing again, with such style and verve. Di Henderson was a real bonus, too.

Absolute must-see if they're appearing anywhere near you!

Henry

I saw Ray Fisher last night too on her long postponed revisit to Camden Town. Apart from it being so wonderful to see her again in such fine form. what was noticeable wa the amazing turnout of other musicians (Moira and Malc in the forefront!) showing just how much Ray is loved and has been missed.

I must add a special mention for Di Henderson who travelled down from Tyneside with her and shared the gig. She was new to me, but what a pairing. Do look out for either or both.

That's good to hear, Moira. We saw her a few weeks ago when her brother, Archie, was the guest at the Davy Lamp, in Washington, and she sang one song as a floorspot. Lively and warm as ever - if a little indistinct, through having just lost a couple of teeth! I'll look out for a full-blown gig.

Went to see ray fisher at the celar upstairs club in london last night. as most of you know, ray had been very ill for a while and has only recently begun to venture out again. It was great night and so good to see her again and hear her in her usual innimitable style. Look out for her in your area. Keep it up ray, hope to see you again soon. Moira and Malc
