Excellent! Brilliant! Bloody Good CD, with a mix old and new material and the Family in excellent voice. It goes without saying that you can't beat seeing the Wilsons perform live, but this comes close. Best thing I've heard for years, its just a shame that Pat was not well enough to be on this one, but the word is she is recovering well which is good news.
Well done lads.
Steve.

Keith and I got the CD from Barry and Ingrid at the Tiger Folk Club. I shall have to be careful where I listen to it, though. I've tried in the car and, as I can't help joining in, I find myself getting carried away.

Great CD, and, as has already been said, the nearest thing to actually seeing the guys live. One, very small advantage of the CD is (taking my life into my own hands saying this) I can turn the volume down.

xxx

Sylvia

Just to confirm nutty's post earlier. We will be at the Darlington Spring Thing, Darlington Arts Centre (in Darlington funnily enough!)this Friday and Sunday, 13th & 15th March. A great early springtime Festival, lots of Daffs on tables! And, an all important opportunity to be one of the first to purchase our wonderful "A Grey Lock Or Two" CD....

Our next appearance after this weekend is at The Howard Assembly Room, Leeds Opera House, doing a concert with Rachel Unthank and The Winterset....an even posher place at which to purchase your afore mentioned CD!

Don't forget, if you are, like us, a shy retiring type, you can buy it via our, difficult to top, new Website: www.thewilsonfamilyalbum.co.uk, see earlier post above from Collier Lad for smarty pants link!

Cheers

Mike W

The Cheque is in the mail.
No REALLY, I posted it on Thursday night when I was in Orangeville, on our way to Morris practise.
Two copies will soon be on their way to Canada.
One is a gift for a friend with a bit more than a touch of the Grey stuff.
JohnB.

The CD is selling very well, and the feed back is great! As our Mike mentioned earlier in this thread we will be appearing at The Howard Assembly Room, Leeds, this Saturday 28th March. In concert with Rachel and Becky and the Winterset.
We will also be part of the chorus for another up and coming talent, 'Jim Mageean' on Thursday at the Welly folk club.

Cheers,

Ken.
