my better half and I will be around the Watchet area in early July. are there any Old time sessions or folk clubs in the area. Cheers Oombanjo

I would try to contact Mike and Di who run the West Somerset Folk Festival. You should find a contact if you google fot it.

There's the Acorn Folk Club in Minehead at The Old Ship Aground on the first Saturday of the month.

West Somerset Folk Festival is in Carhampton (right on the doorstep) on 10-12 July.
The Dame & I will be running the Friday night sing.

Don't forget the steam trains.

And the café at Blue Anchor is pretty good too.

The Bear Inn at Wiveliscombe has been known to have singarounds. I don't know if they are still going but you could contact them.
