Subject: Images in lyrics; your favorites? From: frogprince Date: 03 Mar 09 - 06:22 PM There are so many great possibilities I could never pick just one. But this morning I had Cisco playing in the car,(would you believe a cassette) and got reminded of how this, from Zebra Dun, has always stuck with me: "Then Shorty grabbed a lariet, and he roped the Zebra Dun, and he gave him to the stranger, and we waited for the fun". I can look around that scene, and see the smirks on the cowboys faces, thinking that they know what's coming. Dean |
