Extraordinary Bosnian singer Tea Hodzic, perhaps known best for fronting Balkan outfit Szapora with sister Mirella, will be bringing her trio to Sheffield for a benefit performance for asylum seekers charity Assist-Sheffield on Saturday March 21st. Its a power packed unit completed by violinist Ollie Wilson-Dickson and accordianist Luke Carver-Goss. Tickets for the show at The Library Theatre are available from www.wegottickets.com., The Bohemian Cafe and Jack's Records. This is the first of a series of benefit events for Assist which will feature the Kathryn Tickell Band, Evan Christopher, John Etheridge and Christian Garrick, and Spiers and Boden.
