Great singers and multi-instrumentalists both, Jo and Fi have performed at numerous Electric Voices concerts in the company of Coope, Boyes & Simpson. They are the guests at the Music Institute Club in Guildford on Friday 13th March, and will also be appearing with Token Women at the Godalming Borough Hall barn dance on Saturday 14th March. Tickets are available from Electric Voices

Doors open at 7.30 pm, and music starts at 8pm.
Admission £9.00 - Members £8.00

Both Jo and Fi are members of The Old Swan Band I have not heard Fi sing in years, but she had then and Jo still has now the voice of Angels and a personality to match.I will try and attend if I can.

Hope you can, Al. Sadly I shan't be able to go myself as I shall be in the throes of preparation for a hospital procedure the following day (don't ask!!) I'm deeply annoyed as the Token WOmen are on the following night as well, and I can't go to that one either!!
Jo was actually a guest at the club last year (?), and indeed the Fraser Sisters guested for Electric Voices at the Electric Theatre a few years ago - and IIRC it was a lovely evening (as indeed was Jo's solo visit to the club a while back).

We had the Old Swan Band at Stroud Ceilidhs last Sat. And a good night it was. Neither Jo nor Fi sang. And there were no French/Breton dances. As it should be but I would have enjoyed the Gallic dancing.

Refresh ... they're on in Guildford this Friday. (Apart from the fact that Jo and Fi are in Old Swan Band, I'm not sure what the relevance of your post, particularly the comment about Gallic dancing, is Mr Red!!! :-))

Not doing either I'm afraid ... I've got an invite to a surprise 70th birthday party for a friend .. didn't feel I could say no, so I'm ashamed to say I shall miss you in full flight again!! Sorry.
I already knew you'd got a floor spot, and I'm sorry I'll miss that too :-(
