Subject: Chris Coe singing workshop,Guildford 4/4 From: Surreysinger Date: 08 Mar 09 - 06:12 PM On 4th April 2009 Chris Coe will be leading a workshop "Developing Our Voices By Singing Together" This will be a very rare opportunity to attend a workshop led by Chris in the South of England. Chris is a very experienced and well respected voice tutor on various university courses (such as the Newcastle Folk Degree course) , as well as being a respected performer of both English traditional music and song. Using mainly traditional British songs, teaching will be by ear - no musical dot-reading needed. The session will be accessible and useful to a wide range of levels of skills and experience levels, (NB It won't be a session for absolute beginners.) The morning session will be 10.00am - 1.00pm, the afternoon 2.00pm - 5.00pm. The workshop is limited to 20 places only. Admission £24.00 (Music Institute Members £22.00) Concessions £17.00 (Music Institute Members £15.00_ Fuller details of the day, and ticket ordering facilities can be found on the Music Institute website here Chris is also to be the guest at the Music Institute Club on the preceding evening, Friday 3rd April.
