Bedale Folk Club run by Harvey Blogg is returning to its spiritual home tonight...The White Bear in Bedale, North Yorks. The club has run at the 3 Coopers for the past couple of years. Dick Willoughby was the previous Landlord at The White Bear and a keen member & organiser of the club.... he unfortunately died at this time last year so tonight will be run in his memory.

Lots of local (& not so local) singers and players are expected this evening so it should be a great re-opening night and a fitting tribute to Dick. Tonight is a singaround and it is expected that this will be the usual format but there will also be OCCASIONAL GUEST NIGHTS (just to fly in the face of the doom & gloom predicted elsewhere on here).

The club will run on the 2nd and last Tuesdays of the month.
