I think I got the names reversed. It should be:
Vincenzo de Crescenzo (music) and Giovanni Ingenito (words).

The Sheetmusic Warehouse has the sheet music for sale.

The library of The University of Western Australia also has the sheet music.

An alternate title seems to be TURI, TURI, TURA'

You might be able to find the lyrics in the book "Antologia dei poeti napoletani" by Alberto Consiglio (1945). WorldCat might help you find the book in a library near you.

If you go here, on page 85 (chose "See other formats" then "flip book") the second staff is the beginning to the song and it goes "Vicenzella tesseva a Fravola nott'e ghiuorne". Put into Google -I tried with "lyrics", "text" and "score/sheet music" in English, Italian, French and Spanish- it gave nothing at all. .

QUANNO 'A FEMMENA VO' or QUANN'A FEMMENA VO' (translation: "When a woman so desires") was written by Vincenzo de Crescenzo (words) and Giovanni Ingenito (music). Beniamino Gigli seems to be the most famous performer; others who recorded it are Antonio Basurto and Fabio Armiliato.

I got most of this information at Archivo Storico della Canzone Napoletana. If you can read Italian, you might find more information there.

You can hear sound samples here or here but I am unable to transcribe them.

If you can provide even a phrase or two (besides the title), it might help in the search.

Hi, I´m desperately looking for the lyrics/translation of this Song by Vincenzo De Crescenzo (there is a recording by Beniamino Gigli of it):
Quanno a femmena vo

Maybe someone can provide a translation (english or Italian) for two other songs:
Tarantella sincera (also De Crescenzo) and
"Pesca d´ammore" (Richard Barthelemy).
THANKS!!
