Morris all day boozing? Surely not.

And how many of you went to the Lee Strasbourg school of acting?

Yes I saw the film on Film4 and recognised a few beards and the baldricks were Hammershith(ish). Even from many sides the dancing (such as we saw) was good enough to say they had practiced - so it was not like real life then.

Sheffield City Morris were in a film called "Heartlands" with Kate Rusby.

We ended up on the cutting room floor - but no matter £50.00 a head and all the catering van food (which was good) you could eat. Sat around boozing all day. It was fun.

According the ads running on my screen, at the moment, I can start an acting career today OR I can become a Film/TV Producer.

Elstree and Pinewood are practically suburbs of Hollywood... probably more films made/produced/finished there than actually in Hollywood.

I just want to know why the adverts below here are for Belly dance dress and cheap Bellydance store...

Wrong sort of belly methinks....

LTS

There were members of more than one side - those who could get the time off for filming - with kit put together for the film. Some were from Pilgrim Morris frm Guildford. (I think it has already been mentioned in a thread on morris in films.)

"the Man Who Knew Too Little"

best described as a farce. Bill Murry doing a Bill Murry comedy. Good (of it's kind).

BUT in one episode they had Russian dancing and British (Morris) dancing displays.

The Morris side had a livery that looked remarkably like "Hammersmith Morris" but try as I might I could find no credits and I paused the video several times. So does anyone know if the vaguely familiar white bearded morris dancer and the ginger haired one et al - really the "Hammers"?

The bit of Morris that was seen was a good example (of it's kind).
