Now then Anahata, am I to understand that the ticket I have just purchased for the Traditons Festival in Preston next month does   not entitle me to "An Exotic Indugence to the Senses" as offered in your website. Please make the necessary arrangements to avoid having dissatisfied customers - it may only be folk but professional standards should be maintained.

The rumour about the sheep and me isn't true, either. FYI.

As it's Good Friday I can't see any harm in being dead. It would probably only be temporary. I believe that Jesus had the same trouble as Dick on Easter Sunday, having had to distance himself publicly from the Rolling Stones in his case.

This has great possibilities.

Firstly can any Mudcatter living near Winterton check whether it was a different Harry Cox who died, and THE Harry Cox is still available for bookings?

Given the lack of CAPITALS, should the thread title read: dick smiles last goodbye?

Regards

From the thread title, I was expecting an announcement of a Cher-like "farewell tour"--one of many.

someone has posted this country and western track on you tube, it seems to be linked to my channel.
I wish to make it categorically clear, that this is not my work, and possibly is a piece of mischief making,
Dick Miles [Concertina player and singer of Traditional and self penned Songs.

Dick Miles' "The Last Goodbye"
would bring a tear, to a glass eye.

I simply love the couplet:

"And then she left, and I shuddered a minute
At the thought of my world, without her in it"

Essential listeng imo.

So, have you actually got the words, dick, and are you going to send them to me or not?

I would like to make it clear that I am not Dick Miles and I am especially not the one who isn't dead.

Estadio El Campin isn't named after me either.

Are there any talking country-religion songs with concertina backing? If not maybe there's a niche in the market.

I am the real Dick Miles and I demand that the folk singing Dick Miles and the Country & Western Dick Miles stop, cease and desist from using my name right now!

I 'ad some bloke in my cab the other day.

"Do you know who I am?" he asks.

"No," I said.

"Well neither do I."

What am I like?
OK, OK. I think that's enough. It has been well established that there are two singers named Dick Miles, one who sings folk songs and the other singing country. This subject is closed, and is no longer open to discussion.
