Subject: Vin Garbutt in Coventry 9th April
From: Chris Green
Date: 24 Mar 09 - 11:57 AM

Hi all

Just to let you know that our guest at Maudslay Thursday this month will be the legendary Vin Garbutt, supported by the altogether less legendary Isambarde. According to the man himself, Vin last played in Coventry about ten years ago, which seems far too long a time for him to be away! Tickets are unsurprisingly going fast, so if you'd like one (or several!) give Lucy a call on 07535 130975 or drop us a line at maudslaythursday@yahoo.co.uk
Tickets are priced at £10 in advance or £11 on the door.

The full list of who we have coming this year can be found at www.maudslaythursday.co.uk and the Vin gig takes place on 9th April in a 150-capacity room in a pub that does nice real ale. It'd be great to see any of you who can make it!

Cheers

Chris

So finally Vin has been sent to Coventry :-)

I hope he is in as good a form as we had at Faldingworth in January.
He even produced a bat out of his hair (at least thats what Pat his wife reckoned). This bat flew all round the room for 10 minutes. I would have thought there was more danger of it getting stuck in Vin's hair.
The man in action at Faldingworth just scroll down below Pete Coe's pictures.

Anyway, I hope its a big sell out and you all have a great night.
