It's taken forever but the web site with the Cobbers archive is finally running, though there are still glitches. The aim is to make this a resource for people interested in Australian folk songs or the band and the band has a brief history of the band, lyrics to most of the songs, records, some downloads and some individual pages fro the people who passed through over the thirty years. Yes, there are adverts which we hope will support the cost of running the site. Feel free to ignore them or whatever. Any feedback would be welcomed.

VERY nicely done. Easy to navigate and enjoyable to read, etc. VERY generous with the album download, too. Love what I've heard! Thanks and congratulations!

Cobbers - The Bonza Bush Band

goodonya, cobber

ps. my picky proof-reading eye found a small typo in the dictionary -

Cockatoo, Cocky      White, CREATED parrot, also a small scale farmer, particularly in Queensland.

Thanks for that. I appreciate all proof reading as most of this is typed around midnight, though I confess that on was part of the original dictionary we extended. Also thanks for the kind words. Over time I want to extend it to make it more of a resource. I hope to add a midi or an MP3 to all of the lyric pages so that people know what the song should sound like. I may have to wait until my old age to find the time to finish everything but then, that's not that long to wait
