Well done Reg indeed, and even more well done to the choosing committee for showing some sense. Now, wouldn't it be even more fitting if Reg Hall got a BBC award, or even got knighted, for his services to English tunes and songs?

While it's somewhat ironic that Reg Hall is nominated in recognition of his work on and with Irish musicians in England by an Irish awarding body while continuing to be comprehensively underestimated by the English, I'm not too sure how impressed he'd be if he were to be offered a knighthood.

Wahhhhhh I see they moved the Gradam Ceoils from Cork to Wexford. The presenter Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh is a wonderful singer and ought to win an award in her own right sometime.

Well done, Reg. Here's a pint to ya    c[]

How Rakes progress.....there should be a national treasure award, endorsed by the voice of the people?
