Subject: New Kid on the Block - Folkie?

At a local folk evening in Sheffield recently a young singer/songwriter with tasty acoustic guitar style showed genuine star quality. He's not what you would call a folk singer (and he doesn't describe himself as such) but he's what I'd call a folk club crowd pleaser who would give excellent value for money on any guest night.

Have a listen; see what you think. At least one of his songs reminds me of Anthony John Clarke, and he gets plenty of folk bookings.

The guitar work sounds right to me for a solo, and the songs seem like they'd stand up fine done guitar-only, too.
