This is a return visit by this incredible young performer. He even impressed Kendall when he was last with us so that should tell you something.

This concert will be held at TRUBRIT's house on May 23rd. Pot luck supper from 6.00pm with the concert to start at approx. 7.30.

Matt's last performance was a gem. He is so talented, funny, dry, and talented - or did I say that already? The after concert jam - Matt, Jim and Kendall - was one of those magic moments.Matt is one of those young "folkies" we are always hoping will turn up.

I realize you're from Away, but those of us on this side of the pond are easily confused by British date notation. There is no 23rd month. (Or would that be November, 2010?) I have British clients that come over here in the Summer, and we are constantly failing to communicate on dates. I've taken to writing the month out, every time.

I wonder if I can get Kris interested in another road trip.

Apologies Peter - I still fall into the correct method of noting the date. I know, by now, that I should be able to get it wrong, but it's proving more of a problem than coping with the Cap'n! :0)

Sounds very interesting but we're committed to opening the family cottage this weekend or else!

However, next Saturday, May 30th, Roll & Go will be performing in Portland at the former St. Dominic's Catholic Church on State Street, 7 pm, as a benefit for the Irish Heritage Club. The sanctuary is huge and we are looking forward to filling it with sound; call 232-2001 for reservations or more information.

Yes -- I thought it went very well. I am not sure how Mary tolerates the crushing responsibility of being the Hostess so very often (it worries me to a frazzle!) but I think that was just a lovely evening. Great food, great music, warm companionship -- thank you Matt!

This was a wonderful evening. Matt is so amazingly talented and his humor dry enough to make a New Englander choke.My favorite moment was the spiritual learned from his father but then there was also In The Pines(or The Piney Ridge?) with all that beautiful harmony going on around me.
Roscoe just plain shows off his talent. LOL I thoroughly enjoyed the evening. It was great to have some new faces - Matt's aunt and uncle - and some old ones we haven't seen in a while - Bobbie came without her folding chairs.
Tom and Deborah are perfect hosts. The food was fabulous. And I believe Kendall did get his apple pie.

This young man is going places, I am sure. He is already a consummate performer, with a ready wit and dry humour and a terrific musician and singer.

We've told him to keep us updated on future performances - he's going to be doing a tour of the Mid-West next year - so that we can publicise them here. If you get a chance to see him, take it.
