This thread is to let people know about live music events at Caistor Sports and Social Club, N Lincolnshire, UK.

Caistor is a small market town, situated by the side of the A46 in between Lincoln and Grimsby. To find the venue, head out of Caistor on the road towards Brigg. As you leave the 30mph signed area, the road goes downhill and bends to the left. Slow down, because almost immediately afterwards,you need to turn left onto the sportsground lane, (signed Sportsground!) The lane curves around the town bowling green and the sports club is the brick building within its own car park, just past the green.

The club is a pleasant and friendly venue with a bar and a decent-sized car park adjoining. It is safe and is very welcoming to regulars and those attending for the first time. Please contact Neil for further info on 07850 326527.

This Friday, April 10th, Rachel Harrington starts her tour by playing at Caistor. She will be on Bob Harris next week, after recording this week but you can hear her first at Caistor!


It is a return visit after a very successful night last year at Caistor. Rachel will be accompanied by mandolin player Zak Borden.

At present, no there isn't a website, although Neil has a myspace as Lincs Music Gig Man. I just tried putting links up for Rachel and SNAK but my internet is very slow for some reason, so I will try to do that later.
