It was a wonderful evening and I was very glad to be there. It was great to see how many former members of the Wycombe folk club who've moved to other parts of the country turned up for Dick's threescore and ten celebration.

Here's looking forward to his surprise 80th birthday party!

What a cracker of an evening, Lots of Good singing and music!!! My thanks to the organisers and the Club for an wonderful memorable evening, My thanks to Karen for the timely reminder of the event and the hospitality that made my attendance possible. It was Great to see so many people , mid week, turn out to congratulate our mate Dick Frost on his (finally) reaching the age of reason!!, Someone ,jokingly, said we should have a session of songs we learned from Dick, well I think that might have to run over more than 1 evening!! It was good to see Dicks smile(you know the one he has) that says he is about to sing one of his more risqué numbers several times last night , too. So again my thanks to the Marlow Bottom Club for the evening, to Karen and Leadfingers for making my presence there possible and to Dick Frost for providing the excuse!!

What a great night! 50 people attended Dick's birthday celebrations - thankyou all so much for giving Dick such a wonderful time. He was thrilled to see so many people and to hear such great singing and playing. I have posted photos on facebook and will post the link to them here later.

Dick Frost is 70 this May and we are inviting all those who know Dick or his singing to come along to celebrate with us on Wednesday 6th May at Marlow Bottom Folk and Acoustic Club (prev. Wycombe Folk Club, 8:30. Dick does not know we're inviting everyone so please keep it a surprise!

Dick has been singing and supporting folk music all his life. It would be lovely for him to see and hear the singing of as many of his friends, and fans, as possible! Quite a few people have said they are coming so it should be a great evening and we will make sure that everyone gets a song in! Please let us know if you are hoping to make it - so we can make sure we have a big enough cake!

The venue will be The Pegasus (prev. called TJ O'Reilly's) in Marlow Bottom, SL7 3NA (61 Marlow Bottom Road), Bucks, about 2 miles from Junction 4 of the M40. Do come along if you can.
