Hi, haven't been on for a while so I don't know if anyone has posted this. I just learned today of the sad passing of my dear friend (and mentor)Breda Lewis (of Wexford, later Galway and Crusheen).
Breda was a mandolin and banjo player who lived for a number of years around Galway, often playing at The Crane Bar (where I first met her).
She was wonderful person and an amazing character. I know I and many others will miss her dearly.
Her daughter wrote to me to let me know Breda passed away March 16th.
