This is NOT a commercial. I have no connection to this event, other than as a spectator, but it has showcased some great performers over the years. The Adams Avenue Roots Festival takes place in San Diego this coming weekend. It's a blocks long street fair with music, food, etc. For anyone close enough, it offers a number of venues with performances ongoing, many of them free. Chris Hillman is probably the best known name on the bill. Others you might recognize are Kathy Larisch and Carol McComb and Yale Strom and his Hot Pstromi group.
