Last Sunday, April 19, we had the fundraiser for Mystic Sea Music Festival.
We had a great time w/ a lot of talented performers & enthusiastic audience. I thought that I would hear some updated or new pirate songs, since piracy on the high seas is back en vogue.
I guess no one else thought of it at that time.
Perhaps you all or anyone can come up with somethings new or revised & it or they could be sung @ the Mystic Festival in June.

Regards, Fay

Fay-

It's at least debatable whether pirates ever sang any "pirate songs" but certainly the rest of us sea music addicts do!

Here's my current favorite pirate song, "The Ballad of John Silver" by John Masefield which I've set to music using the tune from "The Range of the Buffalo": click here for song

Cheerily,
Charley Noble
