Not long to go now, we kick of on the 8th of May. I hope we see lots of our old friend from all around the country and of course those who have been before.

For the uninitiated it's a great location for a weekend anyway, but with a festival there as well what could be better. There's a second marquee this year and more room for musicians and singers, concerts Friday, Saturday and Sunday and many of our dancing mates kicking lumps out of the tarmac as well.

Oh there's weekend tickets available as well as as individual concert and camping tickets.

Sorry this is a little late but I would like to thank all the new people that came to the festival, especialy those from the Portishead and Clevedon Folk Clubs, realy enjoyed our sing in the bar on Friday and Saturday evening.

The answer would appear to be yes THE 21st TREDEGAR HOUSE FOLK FESTIVAL! FRIDAY MAY 7th to SUNDAY MAY 9th, 2010.

Of course there's always a chance that a new thread may be started.

As we speak people are on there way, a number are going to arrive today in good time for the folk club tonight in Newport and the set up tomorrow, with the amount of people coming this year it should be out of the exeptional festivals ever at Tredegar House.

A very special thank you to all our friends that made the journey into the darkness of wales.From Leatherhead, Willenhall, Coventry and as far as Devon, it made it a very special event for us at home in Newport, the concerts went well and the singaround in the bar, a bit chilly on Saturday but not enough to deter the dancing or the singing.
