I put a new battery in my FZone FT-800 eletronic guitar tuner, the one that looks like a little baseball diamond, and now everything lights up all at once and I can't turn it off. I realize anything made in China is a piece of crap (things, I said, not people) but is there a way to fix it other than running it over with the car?

Try taking the battery out and putting it back in again. That sometimes works.

Many electronic devices have a little hole in them somewhere which, if you put a pin or similar into them and press, resets the machine.

Might be the case with this but exercise caution.

What about the Great Wall, by the way?

Good point. How 'bout anything made in China FOR EXPORT is crap? That'd exempt your Ming vases, too.

If the buttons are rubber, try pulling them as they often jam in a partly down position
