So we were also thinking this would be a good opportunity to show OTHER dancing styles in addition to Morris. Any Contra or ECD folks wish to come to the premiere/Folklife and share the media buzz? Tickets are selling fast.

If you have not yet heard, The small English indy film MORRIS: A Life with Bells On will have a short screening in Seattle on May 23rd (11 AM) and Sunday May 24th (7PM). It is being shown by the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) in the same locale as the Northwest Folklife Festival. Chaz Oldham will attend to promote the film (and he may even dance with us.)

We, the local Morris comminity, are hoping to stage a large dance-out in kit for the Saturday performance.

If you are interested, please contact me at squire@mossyback.com
