I was also quite taken by the music that was played outside of the G in the garden where Gi and Rochester locals mixd in with folk from The Hood pub in Greenwich. I do not recall everyones name but there was Tony on the fiddle along with The Bagpiper player fiddle bird and a couple on guitars. When they played Horn pipe in D on the Saturday it was stunning.
I do like a bit of Pugwash.

I also now recall the women with the video camera on the Sunday from The Hood.
She was the lady who used to go round the Cricketers in Greenwich with the Pint Jug collecting money? I remember I asked her once if the players would do Horn Pipe in D for me at the Cricketers (This was years ago) she Said Yes but it will cost a quid . which I gladly paid.

Yes, I had an excellent time too. But although the song session in the GI is excellent, can anyone else remember the Eagle when Fo'c's'le still ran the mostly song session in it, and luminaries like Pete Coe would drop in for a slot? They were something else!

Your positive attitude and enthusiasm do you credit, Pete. I also had a great time at Sweeps.

As for Little Legs, don't worry about what he wants to be called. Just call him Little Legs, 'cos that's what I like to call him! (tee-hee!)

Yes indeed Richard there were plenty of sober people in the Brewers. But this was the third set of a 2 hour gig and this dancer came in and wanted to dance . an Publicly announced it Looking at me so and away we went. Witnessed by few who know me thankfully. It was a shambles of a dance.

We stomped all over me cigarettes Thank god for Crush proof packets They all smoked alright afterwards. She threw me around like a Rag Doll. Did you see her boob pop out n I popped it back in again. I was Knackered & She disappeared like a Ghost.

.What with that above and the PARLARVA with the Bee?

Having seen the effect you had on the good and sober ladies (or more accurately lady) in the Two Brewers on Sunday, and having been impressed by your dancing display and her display as well :-) I don't doubt that you had a brilliant Sweeps.

As for me, next year I'm buying a big hat and standing in the doorway looking cool - just in case !!

From The Friday to the Sunday I was surrounded by great singers /players.
This was not only at the GI it was all over?

So I pay credit to all but mention a few that have made a impression.

I forget what night it was but do you remember this Chap.

I will tell you the tale of the Nancy Lea?
The finest ship that ever put to sea?
The Captains name was Captain Brown,
.......................And he played the Luk..er.lay..le has the ship went down.

I thought he was great he Ploughed through it with no gaps.
Then theres Little legs or whatever he likes to be called? He was good has ever but was the harmonica players His Dad? Or Uncle.. Stunning.

VTs confidence grows with every session and the quiet one even voiced a ditty excellent.. well done.
