I'm not sure if Wheeler Street are "stellar" or not, but they are bloody good. An excellent choice to headline the Saturday night!

The 21st annual Black Horse Music Festival will be held in Telham near Hastings in the south-east of England from Friday 22nd May through to Monday 25th May - the main folk day is Saturday - to quote :-

"a stellar line-up of vibrant acts which are about to take the world of folk by storm"

Festival Home Page

1.15pm Telham Tinkers
Folk club favourites get the afternoon off to a traditional start, reminding us how it all got started

2pm Holly 'n' Harriett
Young fiddle duo to get your feet tapping

2.35 pm Norcsalordie
Are a young duo that take a worn out tired old folk song, then give it a good kick up the ass and then produce something sparkling and refreshing

3.45 pm Jim Moray
'Irritatingly young, handsome and talented, Jim Moray is the poster boy of what will probably become to be known as nu folk'.

There will be a folk session in the pub starting at 5pm organised by Hollie Sheldrake

The big folk night (Doors open at 7.45pm)

8.00 pm Zoe Konez
Young local, singer songwriter gets the evening under way with her gentle melodic tunes

8.40 pm Uiscedwr
Funky-folk quartet, Uiscedwr is one of Britain's most exciting contemporary bands who are much loved on the festival circuit

10.00 pm Wheeler Street
'Indecently talented …. Raw and immediate'

Anyone going?
