Wondering, if even no-one had a recording, if anyone knew which tunes were associated with each verse.
I can guess at a couple of them (i.e. - V2 - Wild Rover, V5 - Coming round the mountain, V6 - Danny Boy, V8 - Courtin in the Kitchen, V9 - Spancilhill)

There's a guy from Kerry (i think) that sing it called Mick Fitzgerald (I think). I've heard it played on C103 (radio station in Cork.

I've heard this sung occasionally - the tune changes through borrowings from other, well known songs. Can't say I've heard it recorded - but it wouldn't surprise me if one of the Irish comedians had done so. Let's see if we can find out.
