You will find the most current information and the highest interest levels in the "news-grouops" of the internet. A great deal of trading occurs within the obscure recordings because they are not available through any other medium.

Subject: resurrecting the old favorites From: CarlZen Date: 08 Jul 99 - 03:14 PM After several discussions about how to inquire of record companies to rerelease some old, albeit obscure, or just 'limited audience appeal' favorite albums on CD, and finding it seemingly futile, I was wondering if anyone would have any ideas as to what it would take to purchase the masters of some of those old albums and independently release them. (See the recent "greenbriar boys" thread. |
