I'm thrilled to announce the release of two new CDs.

I worked on "A Few More Miles to Go" for almost a year, and I think it's my best recording to date. About half the songs on it are traditional, and half by contemporary songwriters including Jean Ritchie, Peggy Seeger, Si Kahn, Kate Wolf, Dan MacArthur, Joanne Davis, and Janis Ian. The title comes from the one song I wrote myself about getting older, called "Slowing Down." I'm backed up by some wonderful instrumentalists including Bruce Markow, Robin Greenstein, and Barry Kornhauser. One song," The Faucets are Dripping" by Malvina Reynolds, was recorded years ago with my partners in MacDougal Street Rent Party, the late Eric Levine, Steve Suffet, and Joel Landy. The wonderful cover photo was taken by the renowned Robert Corwin, who has photographed everyone from Peter Paul & Mary to Joni Mitchell.

The second CD I am releasing is called "Very Early Anne," and it was recorded live when I was a student at Hunter College in the Bronx NY in 1965 and 1966. There are three songs on it by Tom Paxton, three by Bob Dylan, and lots of traditional songs. People said I sounded like Joan Baez. They often still do. It blew my mind when I heard these recordings again after over 40 years.

" A Few More Miles to Go" is available on CDBaby.com right now, and "Very Early Anne" will be available there also very soon.

I'm listening to Very Early Anne, and it sounds good. Brings back memories of the 60s. It's not on CDBaby.com yet, it will be. It's a long way from New York to Oregon, where they are located. But it is on Digistation already, for digital downloads.

A Few More Miles to Go is on CDBaby.

I'm going to People's Music Network Gathering in High Falls NY this weekend. Hope i sell a few.
