I heard a song on the radio that I'd like to find and learn. Don't really know the title, but have the following lyrics stuck in my head:

Wish I had a dollar
For every wish that didn't go
Seems to me that wishing
Don't always make it so.

It was sung by a female with old-time country sounding accompaniment.

Anyone know anything about this song?

Never mind. Found it myself.

It's a song called Wishin' on an album called The Lucky One by Christy McWilson. Beautiful country weeper.

I'm wishin' I had all the lyrics. Christy McWilson has a very nice voice. I got this from a sample:

Could it be that wishin' don't always make it so?
