Sunday June 14 I am delighted that Clement Talbot is my guest. He is a son of one of The Talbot Brothers--Bermuda's Seminal Calypso group. All are now deceased but they were probably the greatest influence in building the tourism industry in Bermuda back in the 1940s and 1950s.

We will find out much about them, Bermuda, and, of course, lot's of their music which is now available in a wonderful new book that comes with a DVD of them in concert, on tour, and on The Ed Sullivan Show.

We will also touch on the evolvement of Bermuda from a segregated island---not only people of color but also Jews.

To find out more about them, the book, and some other interesting facts go to my website by clicking on my name below---and, of course, join me this Sunday on TRADITIONS on WFDU and on the web at TRADITIONS airs 3-6 PM ET

OOPS---the link is WFDU.FM

How about a trivia question---the answer which you will find out on Sunday----To what did the song Mr. Trimmingham and Mr. Trott refer and what melody did they use?
