Will be on Skye on Saturday 20 June for a week via Moffat and Oban and on the way back via Berwick upon Tweed -any music out there folks?

Hey Linda. Cobble (Brian) knows sessions up that way, also "The music shop" http://musicshopinverness.co.uk/default.aspx in Inverness has a full list in the side window. I know cos I was looking in the window yesterday afternoon.Beautiful place, go and sing them some of your lovely songs.

Although not on Skye but pretty damned close: The Kintail Lodge Hotel at Shiel Bridge hosts a session of Skye fiddlers, I'm not sure if it's Thursdays or Fridays. Give them a ring, they're on t'internet. The session is tremendous!

If you want to stay at the hotel they have an excellent bunkhouse that is really quite luxurious (good kitchen, en-suite facilities, etc) for around £13pppn. You could of course stay at the hotel itself but it will cost you more. The beer is Red Cuillin on handpump.
