This year at Beverley there will be an Acoustic Marquee within The Festival Village.. this marquee will contain Acoustic Sessions with Open Mic slots, Comedy and Litrature.

The 'Open Mic' slots is a great opportunity for you to play at the festival, alongside some fantastic Artists which will be playing in this new Marquee. To get the chance to play.. purchase a Festival Village Pass, come along to the Acoustic Marquee and put your name down with me.. it is likely to be busy and slots cannot be guaranteed.

I hope to see you at the weekend for which I know is going to be a fantastic Festival..

I hope there is no leakage from any other venue ruining the acoustic. And not so loud as to ruin the acoustic label.

There are plenty of pub singarounds and tune sessions in the Sun, Hodgsons, Tiger, Syntan, Oddfellows, Friary. Tonight there's a meet and greet (singaround) at Hodgsons and a tune session at the Tiger. At both of these venues you should get a flyer giving details of other free 'fringe' events. There should be music at all times in the Sun.

Residents at Barnsley fc!

I will be there with Yorkshire Garland singing some Yorkshire songs on Sunday am bright and too early! with Steve Gardham, Jim Potter and Alma Wright and John Greaves (somewhere!)

We have at Barnsley fc on Monday ~ Jenny and Billy (USA) fresh from Beverley and St Louis Zipper at 8.30pm
