From this Saturday, Shammick Acoustic has a new home at the Pack o' Cards, High Street, Combe Martin, EX34 0ET – you can't miss it, as it's a most unusual and historic building. Chris and Debbie Batchelor are our hosts, and everyone gets a warm welcome there. The club room is the skittle alley, where Chris and Debbie have put themselves out to make it work well for us; great acoustics, so no need for PA; away from the main bar area, so no noise 'pollution'; great food, if you want to eat before the club evening; there's plenty of room to park, good beer – all in all, we think it will make an excellent new home.

Visitors are always welcome - 2nd Saturdays are singaround-style Open Nights for music, song, poetry and stories, although most of it tends to be song; 4th Saturdays are concerts with national/international guest artists. So if you don't live near enough, but are visiting North Devon on holiday, we'd love to see you.
