Yes Dave LIly Neill is American, she is from Washington and was introduced to us by Hannah James who met her while studying in Helsinki. She obtained her degree in Limerick Ireland.

She is a welcome late addiition to the festival and will be in Concert on Sat 24th and doing Harp workshop on Sunday 5th July

I think that Lily Neil is the harpist I have heard a lot about - is she American?

Its almost time for the first Ashover Well Dressed Folk & Roots Festival.
To be held in the delightful Derbyshire Peak District Village of Ashover the festival concentrates on young and up and coming talent as we as a couple of local celebs John Tams and Barry Coope.

The weekend will also feature a chance to learn some of the Ashover Dances and tunes.

Full line-up: John Tams & Barry Coope, Kerfuffle, Elbow Jane, 4 Square, Roger Davies, Rosie Doonan & The Snap Dragons, Amy Atkinson & Midnight Special, Heretique, Hannah James & Sam Sweeney, Ceilidh with Heckety & Feet First plus late addition Harpist Lily Neill

Tickets are still available - but booking is recommended as they are going fast.
