T'Wickham went well, nice to see Soldier Boy and Dozy Rosy, nice song the Red Headed Ann and well sung ~ Ossonflags recorded it to sing

All the usual suspects ~ Muppett!!!

Monologe John and Dorothy and hosts of local irregulars

Now how do I apologise to t'chap wit concertina for complaining [well he mends my reeds eck!]

Live music in pubs takes some doing (sans pa)

Ray

Thanks for all the great comments, but thanks mostly for coming and enjoying the festival. Without you it would be nothing.
Thanks again to everyone who had involvement with it. My first festival and I've now thrown away the "L" plates.

Cheers to all

I said in an earlier posting that I had'nt been to this festival for a few years and that was because the last time I went to it,to be honest, I thought it had lost much of its 'sparkle' and I came away from it feeling a bit underwhelmed.

But Hey, guess what?, this years festival was brilliant!!

I can't put my finger on what made such a difference this year but the atmosphere everywhere was electrifying.
It could be because of the lovely weather, brilliant line up, the heaving and smashing contribution by the 'fringe' in singarounds and musician sessions in the pubs or just that we are in a recession and everybody decided what the heck we are ruddy well going to enjoy ourselves despite the doom and gloom.

Whatever it was, the majic worked, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I enjoyed myself so much that I will definately be back next year.

Lots of praise and congratulations to the organisers, stewards, volunteers and helpers that made this festival so really special. very well done to you all and thank you.

Chris.

Yes you are right Chris lots of people pulling together doing what they are good at makes for a good festival with

Organisers and stewards, pot washers and collectors!

and yes the weather always helps if it is good
