I'll be there

Waiting by the stage door

Stalking

Will we see those polished knees?

The audience could be double should the Breezettes get to hear

Thanks to all for a star studded night.

Hilary's poignancy and John's supremacy.

Rachel the landlady loved Moses and the Refs' harmonies

Chris Flegg was A* as usual and Mike's sunkissed voice and BIG guitar was admired by connoisseurs.

The audience came from North and South as all roads lead to Barton! Woohoo!

Glad it went well. See you all soon. Chepstow on Saturday anyone? Or a bit nearer The Farmers Boy in St Albans on Sunday night.

Cheers very much for supporting Barton John, and putting on such a good show - sorry those knees got cold

Hilary (MGAS) - what can I say - amazing set and charm

And thankyou to Moses (Christine C) & the Ref (Steve L) & Chris Flegg for wonderful support

And thanks to Mike for his soulful song

The largest audience to attend a Barton guest night; were spoilt rotten

Many, many thanks

Thank you Ross for your kind words

It was a pleasure to play for you and I am glad that the 'breezettes' turned out in force to support the evening

I know how hard it is to build something up and keep it going, so does my wife who says if I'm a good boy I can go out again next year.

In the words of J C , 'Take care good buddy'

Now to rehearse for my next gig, Thurs 21st Jan 2010, Bishop's Stortford

a fun place to play and a very knowledgeable bunch, lead by the inimitable Jon Mac

Oh hang on,I got a Portland job in Sept

thanks Ross and Cathie too , 'supremacy' indeed

p.s. J C is Johnny Collins, in case you were wondering

Many thanks to Ross for asking me to sing on Wednesday & also to Breezy who behaved quite well I thought!

I knew there was something 'not quite right' while I was singing in the first half, but my throat started cracking up during Breezy's set & the next morning I had no voice at all. But I can't blame the singing, it seems I've had a dose of flu for the past two days. I'm feeling teribly guilty in case I've passed it on to anyone, I do hope not. But according to reports most of us are likely to get it anyway *sigh* Apologies.....

I'm coming out the other side now, but I sent Richard & Lefty off with the caravan yesterday to the Sussex Song & Ale & I'm wondering what mischief they'll be getting up to *grin* Am still very tired but my temperature is coming down & I'm looking forward to a thunderstorm which should clear the air a bit.

Anyway, thanks again for giving me the opportunity to 'come home' Ross, I really enjoyed it! Lovely to hear Breezy & the Breezettes too!

Oh Hilary, sorry to hear that you have been poorly.

Phew - well timed though. Imagine the riots if it had been a day or so earlier!

It was lovely to have a chat with you - I look forward to the next time.xx
