Described as 'flirtatiously funky' by The Scotsman, as well as 'boasting some of folk music's cutting-edge instrumentalists and singers' by the Daily Record, their music features original compositions alongside a wealth of traditional material. Their adventurous brew of Scottish folk, Gaelic song, and bluegrass has earned them fast growing recognition. Having seen this young, refreshing band a couple of times now, I'm also personally prepared to vouch for them. My most recent experience was at Girvan where I felt they where even more polished with a set which was very varied indeed including everything from old time American music to Scottish traditional material with lots of good original songs and tunes in between. Of course, all the musicians are excellent in their own right but together they are really special. |

Though possibly, bearing in mind the latter's dubious attempts at publicity garnering earlier this year, no Strip Jigs should be allowed . . . |
