In the 1950's MORT FREEMAN recorded a number of albums
of Israeli Dances and Folk Songs.
Does anyone remember him, know if he died, or where
he is now?
Thanks, Thomas.

Pioneer Women's Band Fete to Hear Baritone Freeman
Baritone Mort Freeman will appear in concert at the tribute luncheon for Mrs. Baruch Clair, Monday, August 18, 12:15 p.m. at the B'nai Israel Synagogue.
The luncheon will be held by Club 1, Pioneer Women on behalf of State of Israel Bonds, but is women in the community, according to Mrs. Meyer Goss, chairman of the event.
Mort Freeman has toured throughout the United States, Western Europe and Israel in concerts and in light opera, and has been a soloist on United Nations Radio. He has recorded several albums of Jewish and Israeli music, commercially, as well as an educational series for the Israel Music Foundation. Dedicated to spreading the songs, music and culture of early America and of Israel, Mr. Freeman has appeared as soloist in leading concert halls in the United States and abroad.   He   sings his internationally-flavored songs in more than a dozen languages."

I'm not locating anything recent, TS. That clip was published in 1969.
