If you haven't heard them check out the talented 'Roots Union' or catch them at Cambridge, Sidmouth or Broadstairs festivals. Great songs from Tobias., and supreme slide guitar playing from Phil Henry

Very good, but definitely not folk.

From Avatar's own MySpace page:

Stylistically the music is a fusion of 70's Dub Reggae and Jazz.

Your there, stripey deckchair in reclining position, sun cream on, beer/iced lemon water at your side, straw hat tilted low over your face, feeling oh so comfy, but you can't quite drift off yet, because something is missing.....

Then, from the stage music starts to drift out, like a soft cloud, wrapping itself around you......and suddenly, those eye lids start to flutter...the sun feels that little warmer, and all chattering around you stops as your mind focusses in on the beautiful music of......

AVATAR

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...........

So who would *you* book for your festival?
