Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: Royston Date: 12 Jul 09 - 03:40 PM It only pisses me off that this freak-show is taking up Mudcat space. Oh God, I can't believe I'm typing a repl...... |
Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: Little Hawk Date: 12 Jul 09 - 03:51 PM I talked to Chongo about this. He says that there is a very strong likelihood of foul play. He intends to contact La Toya and offer his services. He says that people would "go ape" if they knew the whole truth behind Michael Jackson's untimely death. |
Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: Paul Burke Date: 12 Jul 09 - 04:03 PM Who's Michael Jackson? |

Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: Rapparee Date: 12 Jul 09 - 04:31 PM If there has been let the cops deal with it. That's what they're supposed to be there for. Personally, I never knew the dude. |

Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: pdq Date: 12 Jul 09 - 04:51 PM If there was murder, it's what Jackson did to Popular Music. |
Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: gnu Date: 12 Jul 09 - 04:58 PM Hehehehehe. Yes, Rap. They are dealing with it. A toxicology report will come. I wonder if the report will be tainted in any way with the fact that MJ was on "The Patch". When they got him to the hospital, he had a pair of boy's underwear wrapped around his arm. Yeah, right. Sue me. You laughed. |
Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: Mrrzy Date: 12 Jul 09 - 05:06 PM He was farther in debt than he had a fortune, anyway... Not to mention that he probably asked for more drugs and had a temper tantrum if anyone said No. |
Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: gnu Date: 12 Jul 09 - 05:27 PM Fuck me. Is this just gonna spiral down to another piss fest? I dunno why I bother. Get with the program. It's a comedy thread. Laugh. Have a joke. Don't be so serious. Like I said on the other thread... he is dead... he can't hurt you any more... let it go. |
Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: pdq Date: 12 Jul 09 - 05:35 PM Oh, I remember now, he's the guy who fell into a vat of chocolate! |
Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: Little Hawk Date: 12 Jul 09 - 06:53 PM Once again good humour gets derailed by the terminally serious, eh, gnu? ;-) |
Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: Q (Frank Staplin) Date: 12 Jul 09 - 07:55 PM Humours- as in the old, medical definition. |
Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: pdq Date: 12 Jul 09 - 08:01 PM Yes, if this thread has humour it is surely vitiated. |
Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: Peace Date: 12 Jul 09 - 08:09 PM HEY! It's Sunday. I had to look up the meaning of that. I'm supposed to be relaxing. I could go any second, and you're using words like 'vitiated'. I just heard that Michael Jackson passed away. |
Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: catspaw49 Date: 12 Jul 09 - 08:41 PM I suppose this might be funny and all but who the hell is this Michael Jackson? Then I might be able to see the joke! Or is this some insider thing? Spaw |
Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: Q (Frank Staplin) Date: 12 Jul 09 - 09:01 PM I dunno, Catspaw, CNN and the other modern day yellow pages have spent countless hours talking about him, and I have never heard of him outside of their yak-yak. I don't know anyone who can tell me what he did. He seems to have been one of those who put on spectacles for mentally challenged infantiles, but having only seen clips on those programs, I dunno (and couldn't care less). Maybe if we stick with this thread, someone will tell us what all the shouting was about. But I should find better things to do. |
Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: pdq Date: 12 Jul 09 - 09:26 PM As far as the "give a shit factor", the exploits of Michael Jackson rank right up there with what Marjorie Main did to Spring Byington. |
Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: RangerSteve Date: 12 Jul 09 - 09:34 PM Michael and Janet are the same person. Film of Janet at the memorial service showed her with a wide-brimmed hat that kept her face in shadow. You never see the Jackson Sisters perform together - that's because at one point, MJ got carried away and invented the other two personalities. Pretending to be four people got to be too much, so MJ decided to fake his own death - it's better to have the most controversial one die. LaToya and the other one can just fade away - no one cares about them anyway. Now Michael can just concentrate on playing the Janet role. |
Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: Q (Frank Staplin) Date: 12 Jul 09 - 11:16 PM Slander! Equating the great Marjorie Main and the equally fine Spring Bynington, great actresses in great films and on the stage, with MJ is beyond belief. Bynington was a favorite of Franklin Roosevelt, who attended her performance at the National Theater in Washington. |

Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: M.Ted Date: 13 Jul 09 - 01:33 AM So this is where the Sour Grapes Club is meeting this week! Face it, gang, the youth of America and the World walked out on folk and traditional music and cozied up to the likes of Jacko years ago. They ain't coming back. Call him a pervert, a weirdo, it won't matter. A thousand times as many kids can sing the words to his albums than ever even heard of the Child Ballads. Even disgraced and dead, he's making more money than any of us ever imagined--so break out the Tequila and sing me a sad one, cause I need to cry, and it ain't for him-- |
Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: Little Hawk Date: 13 Jul 09 - 02:36 AM Chongo reached La Toya earlier in the evening and had a lengthy discussion with her about the possible murder of her brother Michael. It seemed to be going well. Chongo was writing down a lot of stuff she told him and trying to arrange for a meeting next week in L.A. Well, then she suggested they get on the computer and talk face to face. Chongo's got one of those gizmos for doing that now, so he went over to the computer and fired it up...got online with La Toya...and that's when things blew up. "You're....I don't f*cking believe this...you're a goddamn MONKEY!" hollered La Toya. "I've been talking for half an hour to a goddamn MONKEY!!!" Well, that's when things went kinda sour. Chongo can't stand it when people call him a monkey. He's an ape, not a monkey. "That's 'chimp' to you, sister!" he growled, "and you got nothin' to complain about, cos you know who I've been talkin' to for the last half hour? Do ya? I been talkin' to a cheap, loudmouth, dumb, roundheeled, specist ----------------- of a -------------- who doesn't ----------- etc, etc...." I'm not gonna repeat or fill in the rest of what he said. It wasn't nice. So they screamed at each other for a minute or two, and then La Toya threw some large object at the monitor and her signal went dead. Looks like Chongo is not going to L.A. after all. I fear this case may never be solved. |
Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: Little Hawk Date: 13 Jul 09 - 02:51 AM M. Ted - Ah, you think the rise of Michael Jackson has hurt us, do you? By God, man, you have no idea! Imagine the acute pain we folkies suffer whenever we hear Celine Dionne sing "My Heart Will Go On And On" or Billy Ray Cyrus launch into a lusty rendition of "Achy Breaky Heart". And then there's RAP MUSIC!!! Ouch! Yes, it's a hard, cold world for us folkies, and it gets harder every day. Man, do you know what it's like to meet people who have no knowledge or respect for Dust Bowl ballads? Or people who have never heard of the phrase "Eels and eel broth, Mother..."? Or people who don't know that it's "dark as a dungeon way down in the mine"? It's tough. Really tough. Sometimes I feel just like John Dillinger must have felt the night he was gunned down outside the Biograph. Not a friend left in the world. Alone. Abandoned. Bereft. Outcast. Scorned and humiliated. Cast off like an old shoe. It's like being the protagonist in a Woody Allen Movie. It's like dying by pencil sharpener, an inch at a time. Nobody knows the trouble I've seen. Nobody knows the trouble. And that's why I'm a man of constant sorrow. I have to kill something every 48 hours just to retain my dignity and sanity under these conditions. ;-) |

Subject: RE: BS: M Jackson. Has there been a murder? From: Ron Davies Date: 18 Jul 09 - 09:48 AM But when you shot a man in Reno, didn't you have another reason than just to watch him die? Immortality from being in a song lyric, perhaps? |
