Subject: The 'Limbrick' session Chorley Lancs. From: scowie Date: 15 Jul 09 - 11:59 AM We have moved the session to what we believe will be more suitable quarters at the Elephant and Castle pub in the centre of upper Adlington near Chorley on the A673 main Horwich to Chorley road. It is situated at the bottom of Babylon Lane(the Bay Horse, one of our former haunts is at the top) The beer is good, as is the Guiness! the Landlord is amenable to us (Trevor phone 01257 481176) There is parking to the rear of the premises, any overflow can use the Co-op shop car park, a few houses down, or use the main road beyond it. The first session will be on Tuesday the Eleventh of August, at 8 P.M. and then on every second Tuesday monthly as before. The landlord has agreed to cover the pool table, and to switch off both the fruit machines and the juke box to accomodate us. Great stuff! such consideration deserves a good turnout to compensate him for any loss incurred, and so we invite your full participation. Any quieries Scowie 01204 361573 or George 01257 267319 as i will be away at Saddleworth F.F. then Durham Folk Party. thanks for your support Scowie. |
