Although our gig was cancelled due to lack of space, they did pay us. Ben did brilliantly at Waltham Abbey, and it was a nice club. Good to see a few friendly faces too.

Ben has a gig at Waltham Abbey next Monday,23rd.The Leopards have been booked to play at The Bull at Horton Kirby. They have a beer festival at the weekend and we'll be playing on Saturday night from 8.30 Details on our website.

I saw Ben last November at Dartford folk club when I was playing there with Duck Baker & Ben Paley. We were all of us mightily impressed. He only did a couple of songs, but the performance was first class. Worthy of lots and lots of stages I'd say. Certainly recommended to festival organisers who are on the look-out for new talent.

Sorry Richard - it was on t'other thread, not this one. Ben lives in Slade Green - Bexley Borough, and can travel by bus and train to Dartford, Sidcup, Chiselhurst and such. Anything going on in these areas ?

Sorry both TheSilentOne and I were to have missed Ben's performances at Knockholt.

Think I have only heard him on 3 separate occasions. I was gobsmacked the first time and each subsequent time was just better and then better. Hope to hear him again soon.

Ben is improving all the time and fully justifies a local booking.

A little more command of and in his higher register would improve him even more, to merit area bookings.

That is not on the basis of how young he is, but in absolute terms.
