Subject: Broadstairs Folk Week .Who needs B&B? From: civilservant Date: 21 Jul 09 - 02:49 PM I mentioned this on the Broadstairs 2009 thread, but feel it might not be noticed among the discussions. I have paid and booked into double room accommodation (for two people) for six nights in a B&B near the sea front from Sunday 9 August. However a change in personal circumstances means I shall be staying elsewhere in the town during the festival. I paid £70 a night. As I am not guaranteed a refund at this late stage, this would anyone like to make me an offer for the booking? I'm not after making more money than I actually paid which is £420. Just hoping to recoup as much as possible from what I have paid for. An offer of £300 would be reasonable which would be £25 a night for two people. Will suit a couple or a single person who likes a large bed. Please PM if you are interested or call me on 0750 3743566 to discuss. I will mention when/if it has gone, on this thread. Regards Simon |

Subject: RE: Broadstairs Folk Week .Who needs B&B? From: Girl Friday Date: 01 Aug 09 - 06:38 PM Phone the landlady. People who aren't mudcatters may be in need of accomodation for folk week. A good B and B is hard to find in Broadstairs. |

Subject: RE: Broadstairs Folk Week .Who needs B&B? From: GUEST,Girl Friday Date: 02 Aug 09 - 10:39 AM It seemed the logical option ... let me know how you get on? Before I took to camping, I trailed around every B and B I could find, once my regular place had closed. I did this in May without success. I could have had 2 days at the veggie B and B but it's not the same as staying all week. |
