Members and others might like to see (and hear) a preview of a unique musical instrument - a pin-barrel harp - commissioned by the EFDSS to commemorate Cecil Sharp. Comments may be also be viewed (and added to) in the Forum.

CJB.

P.S. If you listen to the YouTube clips you'll know why I put htis intothe BS:non-music thread - it sounds dreadful.

I don't think it sounds dreadful, but I would need to hear more than one note to be sure.

It's probably also a good idea not to be right on top of it. Sort of like Monet's Water Lily paintings. They're good, but not if you're standing too close.

I look forward to hearing more about it in the future.
