Subject: Dirge For A Friend From: GUEST Date: 29 Jul 09 - 08:56 PM A good friend an coworker passed away after a 6 year fight with cancer. He was Dave (David) Harple, from Danbury CT, a Photo Journalist.(Google Him) He was an outdoorsman, Husband, Father etc... canoeing just one of his passions. I came across the Ryan's Fancy version of Wild Goose about two years ago, just after they took out one of Dave's kidneys. I so equated the song to the path we knew he was going down, and to my shame I never did share the tune with him. I did not want to think about the end of the season.
